The Writers Room
The Writer’s Room kicks off its first session on June 18th at 7 PM! This monthly gathering is designed for writers and filmmakers who want to pitch projects, share work, and get constructive feedback from a supportive community of creatives. Whether you’re working on a screenplay, short film, or just need advice on your latest idea, this is the space to help you grow your craft and build meaningful connections.
What to Expect:
Pitch your ideas and get constructive feedback
Collaborate with filmmakers from all parts of the process—writing, directing, producing
Monthly sessions to keep you on track with your creative goals
Each month, new people or returning faces are welcome to join!
To keep the group intimate and focused, we’re limiting the session to just 8 people. A small session fee of $10 covers snacks and refreshments.
Film Acting & Production Camp
Lights, Camera, Action!
Announcing The Ned's Summer Break Film Acting & Production Camp! July 14 - 18, from 9:00am to 4:30pm! Campers will spend the week learning about film acting and production with the Ned Staff and members of the Reel Collective and Hub City Film Festival.
This camp is for ages 13 - 18.
Tuition for this camp is $150 per camper.

Hub City Film Festival
The Hub City Film Festival is a celebration of independent filmmaking in West Tennessee. Held annually in Jackson, the festival brings together filmmakers, creatives, and film lovers to showcase fresh, unique stories from around the world. With a focus on community and collaboration, the festival serves as a platform for emerging voices in cinema, offering opportunities for networking, screenings, and workshops.
